Chip Can Sorting Game

This game is super simple to make but highly engaging! Using some recycled chip cans, we made quick labels from construction paper with targeted blends. Then we printed multiple pictures of words that start with each of the target blends. For /ch/, we included a cheetah, chips, and the letters /ch/. The last step was to mix up the pictures and let the kids sort them into the right cans!

How to Make the Cheetah from ABC See, Hear, Do 2

Make this cute craft, inspired by the ABC See, Hear, Do 2 book!

Letter Blend Chalk

Using chalk is the perfect way to practice the /ch/ sound! Little ones can practice writing (and saying) the /ch/ sound and letters—or just draw pictures! You can’t go wrong with this one. No matter what you do, make sure to have fun!

CH Snack Idea: Cheetah Face Bagel

This cheetah food craft is an adorable way to practice the /ch/ sound and give your little one a yummy treat! First, spread cream cheese on a bagel (we used pumpkin-flavored cream cheese-yum!). Then add vanilla wafers for the ears, an almond for the nose, candy eyes, and chocolate chips for the spots, mouth, and more! Throw on some pretzel whiskers, and you’re ready to eat!
