Indoor snowballs are an inexpensive but educational way to "throw in" some letter practice (pun intended). Start by taping various letters to the wall. Then use cotton balls or crumpled paper for the “snowballs.” Let your child pick a letter and try to hit it with their snowball. As they throw, encourage them to say the letter sound. You can even have a friendly competition to see who can hit the most letters and correctly say the letter sounds!
