Magazine Scavenger Hunt

Messy Canvas Art

This /sc/ messy canvas art is such a fun way to practice the /sc/ sound! Start by using tape to create the letters s and c on a canvas. Then give your child paint and encourage them to fill the entire canvas with color (remember, it’s ok to go over the tape!). Once the paint dries, peel off the tape to reveal your /sc/ blend!

Scorpion Snack

Try this yummy scorpion snack! First, add jelly to bread or toast. Then use kitchen scissors to cut the bread/toast into a scorpion shape—give it a long tail, pinchers, and some legs.  Add candy eyeballs, and you’ve got yourself a great snack for your little one!
