We've got a lot of fun letter blend ideas for the /bl/ blend! Try some of these crafts or activities to reinforce the /bl/ sound.
This blooming flower activity is the perfect way to get your kiddos moving and practice the /bl/ blend! Begin by making a set of paper flowers (with or without your children). We cut petals from cardstock and used hot glue to bind them together. Then we glued a skewer to the back of each flower. Then “plant” your flowers outside for your children to find. As they collect each bloom, encourage them to practice the /bl/ sound!

Blow Paint Volcano
Try a blow paint volcano when practicing the /bl/ blend! First, rip or cut brown construction paper for the base of the volcano. Use a glue stick to glue each piece to a piece of white paper. Then squirt red and yellow paint just above the volcano. Finally, give your child a straw to blow the paint up the paper. It will look like lava exploding!
