How to Make the Bluebird from ABC See, Hear, Do 2

Make this awesome bluebird craft, inspired by the ABC See, Hear, Do 2 book!

Blooming Flowers

This blooming flower activity is the perfect way to get your kiddos moving and practice the /bl/ sound! Begin by making a set of paper flowers (with or without your children). We cut petals from cardstock and used hot glue to bind them together. Then we glued a skewer to the back of each flower. You can “plant” your flowers outside for your children to find. As they collect each bloom, encourage them to practice the /bl/ sound!

Blow Paint Volcano

Try a blow paint volcano when practicing the letter /bl/ sound! First, rip or cut brown construction paper for the base of the volcano. Use a glue stick to glue each piece to your paper. Then squirt red and yellow paint just above the volcano. Finally, give your child a straw and to blow upwards on the paint. It will look like lava exploding!

BL Snack Idea: Bluebird Bagel

This yummy treat is a cinch to make and goes perfectly with our blue bird from our ABC See, Hear, Do 2 Book!  Pretzels, cream cheese and blue food coloring, sliced cheese, raisins, and a mini-bagel are all you need to create this adorable and fun snack your child will love!
